frustration resulting in something good

I wanted to have a shelf for frames.
Checked several sites and models and decided to go for 1m long 10cm wide model from JULA, made with white colored birch tree. Ideally, I wanted the 8cm wide model from another place but that was onl8 80 cm long which I felt was too short.

In anyway. There is no Jula very close to where we live, so I wanted for an opportunity to pass by the shop, which happened Tuesday this week. To be more exact, Ma played golf, and passed by the shop on the way to the course.

He opened package and complained the crack in the paint.....
So disappointing!!! I had to wait for an opportunity to pass by the shop to buy, and now I have to go there within time limitation to return it.

In anyway, I checked on internet and found a interesting DIY solution which we dediced to go for instead of this ready-made frame shelf.

Ma has cut, drilled and put it up. I have beenn bud´sy doing my computer stuff so I have not yet seen the final result - which I will do in 3 minutes from now. I am so excited!!!!

I was planning to meet up Ma at 14km point, in Odenplan.
However, Ma seem to keep good speed, which means, I won't make it in 10 min.

The celebration dinner tonight will be
hamburger with tomato and cheese
mashed potato + eventually gravy
cole slaw.

Even if Ma keep the speed, I don't I am behind with the preparation. I must at least make the coleslaw so it get juicy and tasty by tonight.

サイズが変えられるのがお気に入り。
たくさん人が来たら室内に持って入り長い食卓にもできるという利点も。

I bought a new table for our balcony.

古いテーブルは　室内に持って入って　８月以降マメさんのオムツ台にします。
Ｍはおむつ台を買うものリストに入れてたけど無駄なものは増やしたくないので私はベッドの上とか床の上で代えたらいいと思っていた。なのでこの古いテーブルをリサイクルできるのは一石二鳥。
The old one will be used as pit-stop for mame-chan.

FYI,mame-chan is the somebody who currently lives in m's belly.

uttaget som jag trodde var kopplad till lampknappen var inte det.
Skit, nu måste jag dra kabel antingen ifrån kökslampan eller hallen.

If I may speak (I'll do it in anyway), M is totally useless when it comes to electricity. He is supposed to have knowledge from high-school but I trust my knowledge from elementary school more.

I am working with lamp cord for the kitchen.
Textile covered cord and porcelain head.
It cost ~300SEK per piece if you buy one ready-made. I purchased the head/cable separately and paid in total 250SEK.

Igår fyllde M år.
Det firades med släkten.
Det som fanns att fira var inte bara fördelsedag.

Diskmaskinen kopplades in i samband med detta.
Hurra!

Fast det tog en stund få den att fungera som den skulle, framförallt felsökning.

Ｍの誕生日に多数の人が我が家に。
これを期にずっと先期送りになっていた　皿洗い機の設置がんばりました！

I över x år har vi haft problem att stänga dörren (pga höjt golv i samband med parkettläggning) och i lika många år har vi pratat om att såga dörren.

Idag var den stora dagen då M packade in dörrarna i bilen och åkte 20 min norrut, sågade till den och VIPS.
NU KAN VI STÄNGA DÖRREN!! X uppskjutna år fixade på 2 timmar inkl transport.
