Kolonilott

This is our new project.... Koloni-lott!
Last summer, I got one of my "it would be fun to..." ideas and added myself on a queue for an allotment garden here in the neigbourhood. The expected waiting time was approx 2-3 years, and by that time, the appartment would be fixed so we would have a lot of time.
What a surprice....I got a mail two days ago with an offer to take an allotment garden. (even more surprice for Ma who hardly knew my plan)
So...it was not really according to my plan. The appartment still take a lot of our time but, this is a not-everyday opportunity. For various reasons people before us did not take it. So what to do?
Well, we took 2sqm "herbal garden" to start with this season. We were offered 30,40,45,60 sqm gardens and we were really tempted to take a 30 but realisticly, we don'r have time. Also, now when we are the members we can more easily get a bigger ones once we feel for it!
We stopped by the garden on our evening-jog and cleaned up!
The plan is to have:
Some herbs
Some unusual vegetables Martin brought back from S-Africa
Some Japanese plants
Few flowers.
